IMT Mines Albi: Campus Jarlard, 81013 Albi, CT Cedex 09
Albi is a city of South West France (50.000 inhabitants). It is the “prefecture” (capital city in terms of local authority) of the Tarn county. It is located on the Tarn river, 75 km North East of Toulouse. Its inhabitants are called Albigensians (or in French: Albigeois, Albigeoises). The episcopal city, located in the heart of the city, around the cathedral, has become part of the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 2010. Albi has a lot to show, both as a medieval city with its historical city center and from a cultural point of view (Toulouse Lautrec Museum, Sainte-Cécile Cathedral, etc.).
IMT Mines Albi is located approximately 45 minutes from Toulouse Airport. Shuttle services will be provided at selected times, although public transportation options are also available. Within Albi, public transportation is accessible; however, most locations in the city can easily be reached on foot. A bus transfer from Albi to Bordeaux for the main conference will be organized on Saturday, June 6th.
KEDGE BS Campus: 680 Cours de la Libération, 33405 Talence
Bordeaux is a major city in South-West France (approximately 260,000 inhabitants), and the capital of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Located along the Garonne River, about 50 km from the Atlantic coast, Bordeaux is internationally recognized for both its cultural heritage and its economic dynamism. The historic city center of Bordeaux has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007, noted for its exceptional urban and architectural ensemble dating from the 18th century. The city offers a unique combination of historical landmarks, vibrant cultural life, gastronomy, and world-renowned vineyards. The conference sessions hosted by KEDGE Business School will take place at the Talence Campus, located in the immediate vicinity of Bordeaux city center and well connected through public transportation networks.
Bordeaux is easily accessible via the Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport, located approximately 25 minutes from the Talence Campus by taxi or public transportation. High speed train (TGV) connects Paris to Bordeaux in 2 hours. Many low-cost carriers offer connecting service from major European cities to Bordeaux and Toulouse airports. The campus is directly connected to Bordeaux city center through the tramway network, in particular via Tramway de Bordeaux Line B, which provides convenient access between the historic center and the university district (Talence – Pessac – Gradignan). Several bus lines also serve the campus area, allowing quick connections to major accommodation zones within the metropolitan area. Most locations in Bordeaux city center are easily reachable by tram or bus within 20 to 30 minutes.
Bordeaux is a very popular tourist destination; therefore, participants are strongly advised to book their accommodation as early as possible. A wide range of hotels is available both in the immediate vicinity of the Talence Campus and in Bordeaux city center, with direct access to the campus via Tram Line B or bus services. Please find below a selection of hotels recommended by the Organizing Committee.
