Pre-conference

Participation in the pre-conference is organized through two tracks: "My Project in 3 Minutes" & "Virtual Reality for Physical Internet". 

Day 1: My Thesis in 3 minutes
Friday, June 5th, 2026

The Doctoral Colloquium track linked to the “My Thesis in 180 Seconds” challenge. This track is open to PhD student. If you would like to join the track, please tick the checkbox when submitting your abstract on EasyChair. Participation will be selected based on the submitted abstracts to ensure a balanced and representative set of topics aligned with the Physical Internet community. Selected participants will receive detailed instructions and coaching guidelines at a later stage.

  • Morning: Preparing presentations with coaches 
  • Afternoon: Making live presentations, and having group discussions

Day 2: Virtual Reality for Physical Internet
Saturday, June 6th, 2026

The “Virtual Reality for the Physical Internet” session is dediacated to exploring Physical Internet concepts, decision-making, and collaboration with facilitator-led, hands-on workshops using VR games. No technical prerequisites are required beyond registration. Please tick the corresponding checkbox on EasyChair if you are interested in attending, so we can estimate participation and organize the session. Note: participation may be prioritized for attendees registered for the Friday pitch day.

  • Morning: Discovering the dedicated VR-training environment and playing the PI-game (Part 1)
  • Afternoon: Playing the PI-game (Part 2)
